It was a wonderful evening tonight at Roots Coffee Bar in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. My niece, Rachel, and nephews, Adam and Jesse sang for the full house of friends and family. It was a delight to hear them sing, having watched them all grow up through the years. Jesse and Rachel are headed off to college in a couple of weeks, so it was an emotional night for me (and for their parents!)
They surprised their mom, my sister, Lisa, by singing the song Lisa wrote. “…heaven and earth shall pass away, but His perfect Word shall stand.” It put everything into perspective.
