So sweet! Is this from a poetry book? I especially love the illustration.
Autumn is my very favorite season. So beautiful. Crisp air, bright sunshine, dazzling leaves. Love it.
Hi Leigh, it was posted on Pinterest without attribution under Autumn poem. Love the illustration. Very cozy.
Ah, yes! The shorter days with long, cosy nights, calling for candles and firelights and warm (incandescent!) lamplight. I love the late Autumn days too, when the bright leaves of early autumn are gone, but the rich, burnished Oak leaves hang on with the deep golds of the tamaracks and willows, eventually morphing into the grey and bleached-brown, still, quiet days of November with those gorgeous pinky-lavender sunsets. Umm…
A little hinge of quietness tucked between the bright, brassy glory days of autumn and the wild wintry blasts that follow.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
