My Christmas village is up early this year, because due to my husband beginning a music job shortly that will take up the next seven weeks, I could see us not getting it up again this year. So this weekend, my sister-in-law, Kris and Tom helped get it set up. Emmy is enchanted, needless to say. Here’s a little video tour.

That is so neat! I loved the tour. Thanks for sharing.
WOW, beautiful! Just the thing to get me into the spirit. I love being able to look into the lighted windows.
Ingrid, this is so neat! You have quite a collection — thank you for the video tour. Especially loved the ROOT beer place — haha! I’ll bet Emily spends a lot of time gazing at the village…. I know I would. Is this set up on your dining room table?
Thanks, Lorrie! We have whole narratives about the village. Emily has an astonishing imagination. She is the organist at the stone church now. She’s obsessed with it being a quote, “organ a little girl can play.” I asked if I could come and hear her, and she said, no, it’s just for little girls, haha! Yes, it’s set up on the dining room table with all 3 leaves in it, which presents a bit of a challenge for our Thanksgiving gathering. We’re going to put the leaf in the kitchen table and set the food out there and eat on our laps, I think. My daughter-in-law is used to big gatherings where they do that, so I think it will be OK!
Can I come and live in this beautiful village? Love all of it especially the music shop. Hugs to all of you! Have a brilliant Christmas.
