I want to say a warm thank-you to Hope readers who have remembered me in prayer the last few days. I am home from the hospital, and while a little worse for the wear, am grateful that things are stable. Your messages of Christian love and support were so deeply appreciated!
The Scripture says that we are to give thanks in everything. I am thankful to the Lord for medicine, wonderful caring doctors and nurses, good hospitals and all the help available to those with medical needs. I’m also thankful for a loving family who cheered me up. One night Sam, Tom and William all came to visit together, and seeing their smiling faces coming into the room was such a delight. Son Jon then also came to visit after work, even though it meant a drive for him, and just sat and talked for a long time. I thank the Lord for my precious family.
I’m glad to be home again, and while the next few weeks are “crunch time” as the doctor put it, as we near the arrival of our little girl, we are trusting the Lord for the outcome. Being able to write and post on the Hope site is a peaceful way to spend time with my feet up. Thank you for stopping by, as always. Our hope is in the Lord, and the redemptive element in difficult times and weakness is the reminder that without Him, we can do nothing!
“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms…”
–Deut. 33:27
Hi there sister Ingrid!
So good to hear from you after reading that prayer request on Slice! The scripture that comes to mind is:
“Peace i leave with you
My peace i give unto you
not as the world gives do i give you
do not let your hearts be troubled
neither let them be afraid”
You are in my prayers
xoxo

I am so relieved to read this post, I was concerned for you and your sweet baby. But God is faithful! May the rest of your pregnancy go smoothly. I will continue to lift you up in prayer 🙂

As everyone else has said, I’m thankful you and the baby are alright, and it’s good that you’re home again. You had us worried! We will continue in prayer for both of you.

PS – I remember the hymn “Moment by Moment” was a comfort while on bed rest before the births of my babies.
Mrs. Schlueter-
I’m so pleased to hear that you are home and you and your baby are okay. 🙂 What a blessing! Continued prayers for your family.
So glad to hear you and the baby are doing okay, now. What a wonderful family you have!
Hope you and your family are searching out the best quality food for you and baby. It makes a difference!!
May the Lord bless you!
I hope these next few weeks go by quickly!
Sadly, I am not recovering well from my hernia surgery and would appreciate any and all prayers (the pain situation has not been resolved and is actually worse).
Lisa K
Bless you Ingrid. I’m so glad you’re home now. I’ll remember you when I say my prayers.
I have been praying for you every day and waiting to hear how you are doing. Just checked in here quickly tonight to see if you might be back and was so happy to read this post. Yep, it does sound like it is ‘crunch time’ and you will probably be off your feet more than on now. But God will sustain you …time will pass quickly… and you will have your little one in your arms before you know it. God bless and keep you and your baby as you await her arrival.
Lisa K,
I am praying for you sister! Stay strong in the LORD and in the power of HIS might.
Blessings to everyone!
xoxo Anjelle
