Last Evening’s Sunset on Cape Breton Island

This was the sunset last night on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, where our friend Francis lives. He sent me this photo this morning, and I had to share it. Thank you, Francis, for bringing God’s creation to us through your camera lens! The photo reminds me of the famous lines I memorized long ago:

Sunset and evening star,
And one clear call for me!
And may there be no moaning of the bar,
When I put out to sea,
But such a tide as moving seems asleep,
Too full for sound and foam,
When that which drew from out the boundless deep
Turns again home.

Twilight and evening bell,
And after that the dark!
