17 years ago today, a baby was born in an impoverished southern Romania town. She had a very tough start in life but at 2 1/2, a kind man with hair the same shade as hers showed up from 6,000 miles away to take her home. Her daddy had arrived. Tonight we are celebrating her birthday. (The photo is from her 3rd birthday, 6 months after she came home. The other is her photo in October. I am not sure where the years go!)

Dear Mary, May you truly be blessed on your birthday and the days to come. Already your life marks the love of the Heavenly Father rescuing you and delivering you into the hands of a very special earthly father that HE chose specifically for you. The Lord has placed you in a very loving family who love you enough to share your gifts with others.

My dearest Mary,
I’m truly sorry I didn’t post anything yesterday. I honestly failed to visit The Blog. The days just slip by so quickly as well as the years. However, I’m sure you remember our “wonderful” rendition of our singing Happy Birthday to you…LOL! What a great day when the Lord brought you home to all of us. We thank God today that He has given you another birthday and many more happy and healthy ones. We pray for your continued safety, keep God close to your heart, and know that with God you will always go down the right path.
With love, today, tomorrow, and always,
Aunt Kris & Uncle Mike
