RE: “Update to Post on Vic Eliason” I just finished reading Ingrid’s latest comment and reply to many of us concerning the facts before and after her and Tom were compelled to leave VCY. Although I had my suspicions I was sitting here, numb and sickened as I tried to imagine what the Schlueter family has and continues to experience … then I noticed Ingrid had posted “There is a Balm in Gilead”. What a beautiful rendition and I pray that the Schlueter family finds great comfort in it because it surely soothed me.
Dear Ingrid and family … although these are very trying times, I want to thank you for being such a Christ-honouring example of integrity. Thank you Lord, for your faithfulness.

The upload information at Youtube states, “This old church hymn is beautifully sung by Deborah Liv Johnson.”

Ingrid, thank you for posting “There is a Balm in Gilead”. Just this morning I was singing this song, one of my favorite old spirituals and one that years ago we sand in church choir. Doesn’t seem like many churches sing these old hymns anymore…so very sad.
This hymn used to be one of my late Mom’s favorites…

I hope you are well, Ingrid, and pressing on. You and your family continue to be in my prayers.
