Here are a few photos from Emmy’s third birthday party yesterday (Sunday.) Her Aunt Kris and Uncle Mike came from Oklahoma for her party, and once again, Kris turned out a masterpiece cake.
Emmy got some beautiful pink roses and a new baby doll from her brother Jon. It has a pacifier that really stays in (it has a magnet that keeps it on the baby’s mouth.) She is wildly happy about her doctor kit, and has been checking everyone’s ears. She soberly informed her daddy that he had a T-Rex in his ear. Sounds serious to me! Emily fell asleep last night clutching her new baby which she named after the baby I sit for every day. It’s sweet to watch all the little girly things coming out of her, and her personality develop. She is a very sweet child who notices little things. She spent several minutes admiring her flowers and commenting on how “lovely” they were, sniffing them with rapture.

Beautiful cake!!!! And flowers – Emily is quite a sophisticated little one to appreciate the beauty of flowers. Glad to see you are back – always enjoy your writings.

My son Christopher just had his 16th birthday July 19th a day before my mom’s birthday. She’s gone home to be with the Lord 5 years ago…

A T-rex in his ear? What a difficult diagnosis for Dr. Em to have given her father. Did she prescribe a treatment?
HAHAHA
Your daughter is quite attentive to God’s marvelous creations, which is a wonderful thing to behold.
Thanks for sharing!
