I’m touched by those who are requesting entrance to the Hope Blog. Just a note to say that nobody has a password in, I just put it in private mode as I was not posting anything new. I didn’t want readers who were wanting in to think I was ignoring them.
Thank you for all the kind comments about missing the Hope Blog! It surprises me sometimes. Feel free to friend me on Facebook under my nickname Inge Schlueter or Twitter here where I sometimes tweet (in my spare time.)

So glad to see your post! I’ve checked daily to see if it was still marked “private”. It’s a comfort to have you back – even if you have nothing new posted!

The Hope Blog is my main page that comes up everday when I log on. It was always the first thing I would read daily. I have kept it up there even though is was marked private, just hoping there would be a word from you one day soon. So glad to see this note today. I have been praying for you, Ingrid. It surprises me that you are surprised at how much we miss your comments here. You have a wonderful gift of writing and of encouragement and I loved seeing the pictures and hearing about your family, especially the posts, pictures and video clips of little Emmy. I will look for you on Facebook. I can understand how busy you are at this time in your life. But hopefully, one day when you have more time, you will continue your blog. In the meantime, I will just continue to keep it has my main page. Many blessings to you and you family, Ingrid.

Thanks, Rose and Barb. You are dear. Emily is turning 3 this Sunday, so I am getting her cake and party ready. She is a very excited girl!

Hi Ingrid, I have been reading your Hope blog since it’s inception and before that, I was following Slice. I’m not much of a writer and I have never replied to any of your posts before but I just had to tell you how terribly sad I was when I thought I could no longer read your posts. After it was marked private, just like Barb and Rose, I also would check every day to see if there was anything there. I always enjoyed hearing about your family and your darling little Emmy always put a smile in my heart and I loved watching her grow up. It made me sad to think I would never again enjoy seeing sweet pictures of that precious little girl. Happy Birthday to your little Emmy!
For me, going to your blog each day was like resting in a safe haven in the storms that continually surround us in this sin cursed world. You gave us beauty, love, encouragement and most of all, hope! Your blog literally was a sweet respite at the end of my day and it lifted and soothed my own soul in ways you could never imagine so I thank you for that, Ingrid. Of course, our true haven is Christ. Even though we have never met, I just wanted you to know how much of a blessing you are to me. “May The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you (and your family) and give you peace”.
I also just friended you on Facebook! Judi Adams

Ingrid, your blog was a ray of hope and sanity in an ever darkening world. I second the hope that you at some point will return to blogging. God’s richest blessings to you all. And happy birthday Emily!

Thank you so much for this note. I’ve been missing you. I also have been looking every day for you, and sad not to see your uplifting words.
Hard to believe Emmy is 3 now. Happy birthday to her!

Always happy to see your blog public; understand if you need to be private. HB to little Em!

So glad to see your blog is back! I really enjoy reading it. An update on my son Dan–he had a successful heart transplant on April 14th and is home and recovering. God has done so many miracles through all of this and we are so thankful to Him! Thanks to all who prayed. God be praised!

Ingrid, I agree with the sentiments of the other commenters and want you to know what a blessing this blog has been to me since I discovered it. I still miss you on Cross-talk. You were always my favorite host(ess) on it. And Judi Adams, I think you underestimate your writing abilities. You express yourself very well.
