Will played the organ publicly for the first time tonight. He joined Tom for a Dad and son collaboration. It was a joy to see his enthusiasm for the instrument he loves. Afterwards we met many wonderful people. It was an evening we will all remember. Below are a few photos. Will is sitting by his organ shoes in one shot. They are specially made for the pedals.
Below that is a video link from UStream. Will and Tom are playing at the 49 minute mark, so fast forward. His teacher, Sister Mary Jane Wagner, is turning pages for him. He is greatly blessed to be able to study with her.
Go to the 49 minute mark.

Thank you for the kind comments. I would encourage anyone who looks at the video and who is here at the Hope Blog with malice in their heart (you know who you are) to note that the service and concert were based on the 6th Beatitude from our Lord. Only the pure in heart will see God. Jesus said so.

Beautiful haunting melody and such talent! I would imagine as the years go by less and less people learn to play this type of organ. It’s wonderful for Will to keep this alive.
