Your Best Life Now?

This morning I plead with you to read the full interview with Pastor Zaul Balaev from Azerbaijan that I have linked to on my Slice blog. It will put everything else in perspective. Please send this post on to as many believers as possible for prayer. Let’s ask the Lord to help this dear brother.
Words cannot do this dear saint’s suffering justice. All I can say is that he is truly one of those “of whom the world is not worthy.”
Father God
I am not sure of what you want me to pray for this brother in Christ.
I know that it is your will that will be done.
If it is to be released then I ask for you to hasten that, God.
If it is for him to come home to you then I ask Godspeed.
Most of all in the meantime, I ask that you comfort him with your love and tender mercy.
You know all of his needs Father God. It is in your great and mighty hands.
You have a reason for all things that you do.
Even if it is for brother Zaur to be a light to the other prisoners.
I am quite sure you have someone in there that needs to know of you.
And that no matter what happens to brother Zaur, all of heaven is watching him right now.
Brother Zaur’s service is not going without notice from you Father. May he have the strength to carry out your will Father.
I thank you for hearing my prayer. All said in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazereth who now sits at the right hand of you Father God. Amen!
The Americian church has a lot to learn from him!! How many (myself included) could hold up under those conditions? I am humbled as I read this.
Ya know, reading this makes me dislike people like Mike Murdock, Jesse Duplantis, Creflo “Worshippin’ the Almighty Dollar” and the rest of that crowd even more than I already do.
Of course it also makes me wonder how I would hold up under such conditions. And you are absolutely right, Sharon, the world is not worthy of such as Pastor Balaev
I am humbled by the account of the suffering of this brother in Christ. It makes me seethe in anger at our circus chruches even more. We can not take lightly our priveliges we ahae in this country-here we can share Christ wihtout fear of imprisionment. Faith in Jesus is more than attending a “fun -filled worship” (and I use the term worship tongue in cheek), it is a matter of life or death in those countries.
Hello, Just thought you’d be blessed to know Pastor Balaev has been released go to persecution.com Praises to our God.
