Today on Crosstalk my guest will be my dear friend in the Lord, Sherry Goodwin. She will be telling the amazing true story of a young girl named Mary Jones. What this Welsh girl did because of her love for the Scriptures ended up impacting a world for the Lord. This is a Crosstalk that is highly recommended for children as well as adults. We will be offering a little book entitled, Mary Jones and Her Bible. This is a perfect gift for children because the Bible is our perfect gift from the Lord. Today Bibles often collect dust in Christian homes. I hope the story of little Mary Jones will inspire us to love God’s Word more than we do. The program airs at 2pm Central Time. BIBLE ( Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth).
It is also a love letter to me from the Lord.
He let’s me know of His neverending love for me in His word.
He let’s me know when He is upset with my actions in His word.
He let’s me know about judgement in my choices if I make ones not of Him.
He let’s me know how to have mercy, grace, and compassion.
He let’s me know how to take the narrow path.
He let’s me know that I cannot make it with everyday life without His word.
He let’s me have healing by what He has said in His word.
If you notice, I say He let’s.
He let’s me have the privilege to read that word.
One day soon He will no longer let me read that word.
For He will come for me and that word will be in person.
I thank Him for giving me time to read and learn from His word.
What a blessing He let me have!

I, too, was blessed by listening to Crosstalk today! I had to be in my car for an extended period of time today (unusual), and so was able to hear the entire story. I will be ordering a copy of the book for a read-aloud for my family, as well as some extra copies to give as gifts. What an inspiring–and humbling–story!
